8mm and Super 8mm Film With the growing popularity of DVD many people
are opting to have their old home movies converted to the newest
format. With a shelf live of nearly 150 years, DVDs can withstand
the test of time with no image degradation. Celluloid films become
brittle with age and the chemical composition on the film causes
the images to fade. At Advanced Concepts we take great care when
transferring your movies. We know these films often contain a
lifetime of memories and if damaged, cannot be replaced. Our
equipment is state of the art and delivers the clearest, cleanest
image possible. In addition, by using Broadcast Video Processors
we are able to restore the proper color balance and bump up the
color level if necessary. Once the film images have been digitized
into our system we can add music from any of our five music libraries,
digital titles, and make multiple copies for you and family members.
This is a one time process and your original movie reels are
returned to you undamaged. Once completed, you will never have
to locate a projector and screen again - simply insert the DVD
into any standard consumer grade DVD player or computer and you
are ready to enjoy lost memories all over again.

footage from the early days of NASA at Marshall Space Flight
Center, for the U.S. Army at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville,
AL. and for numerous other corporations who wish to archive their
footage onto DVD. Unlike the 8mm film transfer, audio transfer
